🆕 Masterful Flag-Raising Ceremony to Kick Off Filipino Heritage Month

Councillor Jackson was invited to help kick-off Filipino Heritage Month with a flag-raising ceremony at the City Hall Forecourt to celebrate the rich cultural contributions of the local Filipino-Canadian community.

Part of the festivities in June include recognizing Philippine Independence Day, celebrated annualy on June 12 to commemorate the Philippine's historic declaration of independence from Spanish rule in 1898.
