First Genocide of the 20th Century

For the approximate 3 million Armenians living in the nation of Armenia and the approximately 7 million Armenians in the diaspora around the globe: the commemoration of the 110th Armenian genocide occurs on Thursday, April 24. Nations around the world including Canada have recognized that horrible, tragic occurrence as the first genocide of the 20th century. The public is invited to the Commemoration Ceremony on Sunday, April 27 at 2:30 PM at the Armenian Community Centre located at 191 Barton Street in Stoney Creek.
