🆕 UPDATE -- Rubber Hitting The Road at Revitalized Hampton Park

🆕 UPDATE

Construction is planned to begin on the new Hampton Park Play Structure in mid-August with expected completing by early October, barring any unforeseen weather issues.

A formal closure notice will be shared with the public in early August

Although fencing will be erected around the construction area, the spray pad will remain open during construction as there is sufficient separation to safely undertake play structure installation.

Thank you to the Hampton Park Citizens Committee (chaired by Katherine Codispodi) as they worked with my office and the Parks Department to choose a new play structure with a rubberized surface benefitting children with disabilities that will be installed in 2025.
