🆕 Ward 6 Upcoming Infrastructure Upgrades

In 2026, various Ward 6 neighbourhoods will be receiving improved municipal services as part of the City of Hamilton’s ongoing upgrades to infrastructure. These improvements were made possible through a successful motion by Ward 6 Councillor, Tom Jackson (approved by Council) and funded through Ward 6 allocated monies (Area Rating/Minor Maintenance and through Canada Community Building Funds - CCBF). The following streets have been scheduled for road resurfacing and associated works:

Beston Drive (from Carson Drive to Landron Avenue)

Markson Crescent (from Beston Drive to Landron Avenue)

Paris Avenue (from Carson Drive to Locheed Drive)

Locheed Drive (from Carson Drive to Landron Avenue)

Aries Court (from Solomon Crescent to the End of Aries Court)

Northstar Court (from Milkyway Drive to the End of Northstar Court)

Morningstar Court (from Milkyway Drive to the End of Morningstar Court)

Milkyway Drive (from Solomon Crescent to Upper Kenilworth Avenue)

Albion Falls Boulevard (from Limeridge Road East to Corinthian Drive)

Corinthian Drive (from Limeridge Road East to Albion Falls)

Loconder Drive (from Queen Victoria Drive to Upper Gage Avenue)

Celac Court (from Templemead Drive to the End of Celac Court)

Homex Place (from Templemead Drive to the End of Homex Place)

Independence Drive (from Mount Pleasant Drive to Templemead Drive)

The City is currently in the design phase for these projects and upon completion, they will tender the projects, review contractors’ bids, and when there is specific information (start dates and completion dates), an update will be provided via Councillor Jackson's website prior to construction.

As with any construction, some inconvenience to residents can be expected, and patience during construction is appreciated. Construction activity may occupy the entire width of the road, but local and emergency access will be maintained.
